Goal: This joint research laboratory aims to realize a next-generation integrated infrastructure for high-performance computing (HPC) and high-performance data analysis (HPDA) that accelerates and promotes the efficient and effective utilization of various live data. Also, the infrastructure must be able to accommodate a variety of high performance computing needs utilizing a heterogeneity of large-scale data with higher energy efficiency.
Towards the envisioned infrastructure, this joint research laboratory works on the following three research topics.
[Topic 1] High-performance computer system infrastructure technology that allows us to make maximum use of the hardware performance
[Topic 2] High-performance computing and data analysis integrated computing technology that can accommodate a wide variety of computing needs
[Topic 3] Data aggregation and management technology that promotes the utilization of research data
